Why Teach Your Dog ?

A well-behaved dog is a pleasure to be with and one to be proud of. Dogs by nature are pack animals and thrive when they have a strong leadership therefore we have a duty to teach them the rules of living within the human pack. This does not mean we dominate them, instead we should treat them as members of our family and give them not only physical exercise, but mental stimulation as well.

Teaching your dog should be fun for both you and your companion, it is the most powerful way of building trust and understanding if done properly.

"The great pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself too. "
Samuel Butler (1835 1902), English author. Note-books, "Higgledy-Piggledy" (1912).
