The Kennel Club Good Citizen

Now your puppy has a clean bill of health and you have done everything in your power to ensure that he or she is medically sound, think for a moment about their emotional needs.

Just like a child your puppy has to be guided and taught how to cope in a strange and ever-changing world therefore it is our duty to give our new found friends the best start in life. As with the human race, dogs are all different, genetic characteristics, temperament and the environment they live in are all contributory factors to their makeup. Having said that, the greatest influence other than genetics will be you and your family therefore give serious consideration to learning doggy language.
