Thoughts of a Dog Trainer

Since childhood I have loved the company of dogs and have spent most of my life trying to understand them.

After many years working and living with different canine companions it became clear that most were totally misunderstood, both by me and the majority of mankind. Thanks to a few enlightened people I set out to learn as much as I could about the workings of a dogs mind and how to achieve the perfect partnership.

Now many years later I am still learning, but the knowledge I have gained is the reason why dog owners all over the country have a better relationship and understanding of their canine friends.

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn’t merely try to train him to be semihuman. The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog."
